Festival Ready Hair.

Yaay ! The Suns out & as Glasto makes way for Love Box  and Wireless it's officially festival aka funky hair season. Pink, Blue, Red what colour is right for you and what are your options? Well my beauties I'm here to explain it all. Do you can have the colour power to rock the party?

For the dye hards / Pastel hair / grey , silver hair

Light wash hair is all the rage and can be a bit daunting. If you have blonde hair- Yay! it should only take one bleaching from golden, and if you have platinum hair already you are good to go! For those with extensions/ darker hair who are willing to dye...

To achieve the look it is best to work with Virgin (non coloured hair). You will have to dye your hair with 30vol developer + bleach powder. Everyone is different but if you have dark brown or black you will most likely have to do the process twice. Probably twice, if you are starting from brown hair. Leave the bleach on for 30 mins. One way to protect your hair from damage is to coat with coconut oil prior to bleaching. The idea is to get your hair platinum blonde.

Once you have it platinum blonde you may need to tone out any brassiness with Wella T18 toner to get rid of evil orange tones and wash further with & Loreal Silver Shampoo. To find out how I used silver shampoo to achieve my look above visit http://lifebyloisblog.blogspot.co.uk/2015/06/summer-silver-hair-top-tips.html

Once you have the brassy out you can pretty much achieve any pale colour-

Achieving semi permanent silver hair :

Use Loreal silver shampoo. Leave on for 20 mins
or
Use crazy colour silver mixed with conditioner

Achieving permanent colour

Use Wella toner T50 for permanent silver hair. Buy on Amazon mix with 20vol developer.

Achieving pastel colours from platinum

- My range of choice is Crazy Color semi permanent hair dyes. As the colour is semi permanent you can really play with colour. From blue to pink- go crazy ! To achieve Cara's hair use candy floss, mix with conditioner and leave on for 30 mins.

For those with darker hair.

For those of you with darker hair who don't wish to damage it- fear not, you
Can achieve colour in darker hues.

Try navy and khaki colours which can be applied to a tame brown Ombre- or contact us for a custom colour weave.
